What principals ask before they start.
Straight answers to the questions principals ask us most.
Teachers and privacy
Are you recording my teachers?
Swiftscore scripts the lesson to help you write, and the transcript belongs to your district. Nothing is stored as audio, and you decide per building whether to use it at all.
Am I being recorded?
Swiftscore scripts the lesson to help your evaluator write a better observation — nothing is stored as audio. The transcript belongs to your district, not to us, and your principal decides per building whether to use this at all.
Accuracy and the AI
What if the AI gets a score wrong?
You are the evaluator. Swiftscore drafts against the evidence it heard and cites the moment it came from, so you can check any score in one click and change it.
What if the AI gets my score wrong?
Your evaluator stays the evaluator. Swiftscore drafts against the evidence it heard and cites the exact moment a score came from, so your principal can check any score in one click and change it.
Fit and setup
Does it work with our framework and our assessment?
Yes to both. Danielson, Marzano, your state model or the rubric your district wrote. And it reads the diagnostic you already run rather than asking you to adopt another one.
How long until we are running?
A principal can score a real observation the day they sign in. Full district rollout, with your rubric loaded and your roster synced, takes about two weeks.
Do I need district approval to bring this in?
Usually not. Swiftscore is quoted to fit inside a budget a principal already controls — the same way you'd buy something for your teachers or students, just for your own building this time. No procurement cycle, no district sign-off required to get started.
What happens if my district wants to roll this out everywhere?
That conversation starts the same way — one building, one principal saying yes. From there we work with your district on a wider rollout whenever you're ready; nothing about starting small locks you out of scaling up.
Cost and funding
Is there money for this?
Most districts fund it from Title II or existing professional-development budgets, and we help you find the line. Several of our districts are funded through grants we pointed them at.
Can I pay for this with grant funding?
Many principals do. Title I, Title II and other instructional and professional-development grants commonly cover it. If you are not sure what you have access to, our team will look with you and find the money.
What will it cost for my school?
It depends on the size of your building and which package fits, so we quote it rather than list it. Ask for a quote and you will get a real figure for your school, not a range.
